SATYA: Nag Champa Masala – The Classic Indian Incense Stick
Nag Champa Masala by SATYA: probably the best selling incense in the world and the scent most people discover Indian incense through. Handmade in India.
Scent profile
A base of sandalwood and champa flower, with resins. The result is soft, floral and lightly spiced, sweet without cloying and very enveloping. This is the scent that defines the nag champa category.
What masala means
The aromatic paste is kneaded and applied to the stick by hand, so the scent sits inside the product rather than being sprayed on the outside. It burns evenly, the smoke is less dry and the fragrance lasts longer than on a dipped stick.
When to burn it
Ideal for meditation, yoga and energy cleansing, and perfectly good as an everyday background scent. If you are only going to keep one incense at home, this is the safe bet.
